Semosh Waterfall and Pond Rahim Abad

The Semosh recreational area is the closest place to the city of Rahim Abad that can be chosen for leisure and recreation.

In this recreational area, you can witness the unique beauties and manifestations of nature, including a 13-kilometer-long river. This rushing river starts from a valley between the villages of Javaher Dasht and Rud Poshteh Dasht and after passing through the heart of the forests, it flows into the Polu Rud river at the Polu Rud dam.

This beautiful river originates at an altitude of 2000 meters and descends just 100 meters above the ground.

The beautiful Semosh river, which has two main branches, passes near six villages on its path, and in the village of Gousfand Goyeh, its two main branches named Daran Gu Rud and Semosh Rud join together. After this, due to the river's high water volume and gentle slope, it flows through an alluvial path in the heart of a beautiful valley.

The natural beauties in the Semosh recreational area have made Rahim Abad county one of the country's tourism hubs.
