Faiz al-Rahman Mosque
Viewing its historical monuments, especially old mosques with traditional and historical appearances, is considered one of the most popular tourist attractions in Zahedan. The construction of Faiz al-Rahman Mosque dates back to the late Qajar period and early Pahlavi era. This mosque is also known by the names Faiz al-Rahman Mosque and Faiz Mosque. Kadkhoda Faizollah was the main founder of the construction, who, along with Master Heydari (one of Iran's great architects), implemented the idea of building Faiz Mosque. Watching the old vaulting, green columns, and red carpets spread out are among the beauties of this mosque. With the idea of the talented architects of that time, old fans were installed among the domed ceilings of the shabestan to balance the air temperature. Faiz al-Rahman Mosque was registered on the list of national monuments of Iran on March 15, 2001.
