Tomb of Seyyed Mahdi
“Seyyed Mahdi” lived in Iranshahr a century ago and was very active in promoting the culture of Islamic principles, so much so that he was highly respected by the people of this county, especially the then ruler.
“Seyyed Mahdi” died in 1297 AH at the age of 82, and due to his popularity among the people of Iranshahr, his body was buried with great honor and respect in the city center cemetery.
Since his burial until now, his tomb has become a pilgrimage site for the people, so that every year the people of Iranshahr and other cities of the province come to this place on Wednesdays and Thursdays every week to visit this descendant of the Prophet.
