The historic noble house, known as the Colonel's House, is one of the remaining historical buildings from the Qajar era located in the city of Mohammadabad Jarquyeh. This historic house, which is also registered in the list of national monuments of Iran, is situated in the old fortress and has now been converted into an ethnographic museum through the efforts of the municipality. This house has an entrance vestibule, a portal, and a large courtyard. The courtyard of this house has a small pool in the center and four flowerbeds along with trees around the pool; numerous rooms are arranged around the courtyard. Each of the rooms in this building has verandas that open towards the courtyard. This brick building also features wooden lattice doors and windows with colored glass, which are remarkable in their kind.
