The Bampur River is one of the permanent and water-rich rivers of Baluchestan, originating from the Karvandar heights, 120 kilometers northeast of Iranshahr. The main branches of the Bampur River are Karvandar, Irandegan, and Daman, which after joining together and irrigating the surrounding villages as well as reaching the Bampur dam, irrigate all the lands of the Bampur dam and the remaining water of this river flows into the Jazmurian sand dunes.
