Description

Seyed Mahmoud Marandi

This tomb is located in the village of Harzevil, 3 kilometers east of Manjil. According to

the inscription written on the marble stone on the grave, the buried person is Sultan Mohammad Haji

Mahmoud Marandi, known as Imamzadeh Seyed Parnour. Next to the crypt of the shrine, there are two

white marble stones, on one of which 15 verses of poetry in praise of Amireh Titi,

the founder of the shrine, are written. The other tombstone belongs to a person named Malek

Abolghasem. This shrine is very revered, but when a person steps inside, such a feeling of peace

comes over them that no one wants to leave. Agha Seyed Mahmoud Marandi has many visitors who come daily, especially on Fridays, to pay respects, which is very beautiful. Geographically, it is also located in a very beautiful place that is both a pilgrimage site and a recreational area. But what is very interesting and amazing is the greatness and kindness of Agha Seyed, who never turns anyone away. I have seen and heard of many people who received their wishes and of a disabled person who was healed, a woman who had been unable to have children for 15 years who got her wish fulfilled, and many other things. More interestingly, under the shrine of Agha Seyed Mahmoud Marandi, a flower grows that neither drinks water nor sunlight nor even lamp light, yet amazingly it grows and is given to those who seek wishes, and God willing, they receive their wishes. To all friends and acquaintances passing through the city of Manjil, even if just once, visit this place because I am sure it will not be your last time. The caretakers there are Gholam Reza and his sister Maryam Khanom Kalahar Chegini, whom all the people who know them speak well of, as they truly put in a lot of effort. Their kind mother passed away in 2008 and is buried in the courtyard of Agha Seyed Mahmoud Marandi, known as Seyed Parnour. No matter how much we speak of their mother's goodness, it is never enough; they were also from the Sayyids. May their soul be happy.
