The Chabahar Local Museum, also known as the Chabahar Museum, is considered one of the attractions of Chabahar and is currently located in the old building of the Chabahar Governor's Office, which dates back to the Qajar era. Some sections of the museum include prehistoric times, historical periods, contemporary era, ethnography section, and library. In addition, the museum displays panels of marine plants of the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman, aquatic and shore birds of the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman, and panels of other aquatic animals of the region.
